Our Journey
Mother-Daughter Team
Coleen graduated from Oregon Health Science University with a BSN and worked in Pediatric Oncology at OHSU and CHLA. After two years at a cosmetic surgery aftercare facility, she envisioned an RN-managed, women-owned luxury post-surgical recovery center and successfully opened Jade Healing Retreat in 2005. Coleen moved to Newport Beach in 2012 to raise her three children, and opened Zen Healing Retreat with her daughter, Phaedra, in 2021.​
With a passion for Zen Healing Retreat’s mission and values, Phaedra is here to ensure that all patients’ needs are met effectively and with compassion and care.
